An original oil painting on linen on board by DeCourcy (Larry) Taylor (1930-), LANDING A LARGE STRIPER (2007) is signed by
the artist, lower right. The image is 22 1/4 by 16 1/4 inches. The frame measures 27 1/2 x 21 inches. The artist's lifetime
of experiences fishing and hunting the Atlantic Flyway are reflected in his work. He is well known for originating the design
of Gray's Sporting Journal and, as art director, designing and illustrating it for 17 years. He also art directed and designed
the Atlantic Salmon Journal for 10 years.
